Unique RF Coils​

 

The Aurora proprietary transmit-and-receive RF coils are built into the patient exam table to provide uniformity across the entire image. This design allows a homogeneous signal for a large volume-reducing hot and cold spots which can be seen with whole body systems. With the Aurora System, the result is a more homogeneous fat suppression and a reduction in artifacts. Aurora’s unique RF coils offer full coverage of both breasts, chest wall and axillae in a single bilateral scan without compromise in contrast resolution. The homogeneous coverage of the Aurora Breast MRI magnet is 36 X 44cm, allowing for true 3-D bilateral fat-suppressed imaging.
