Rebecca Stough-Clinton, M.D., launched the first comprehensive breast MRI program in Oklahoma in 2003, facilitating the introduction of the Aurora breast dedicated MRI device at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City. Since then she has reviewed over 20,000 breast MRI examinations. With the Medical Director of the breast center, Alan B. Hollingsworth, M.D. she has co-authored numerous published articles regarding breast MRI. She has been a Castle Connelly Top Doctor in Oklahoma and in America as well as a US News & World Report, America’s Top Doctors for Cancer. She was also named as an American Registry, America’s Most Honored Professionals Top 1%. She has been an invited speaker nationally and internationally in Japan, Taiwan and China twice regarding breast MRI as well as image directed breast biopsies using Ultrasound and MRI.
Effective this year Dr. Becky retired from Mercy Breast Center to become the Global Director of Clinical Imaging for Aurora Healthcare, US Corp. Dr. Stough-Clinton is part of a team involved in the training and development of a comprehensive breast center in Asia which is to become a model for an Asian network.
Becky grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and graduated from the University of Oklahoma. In 1975 she graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine with her M.D. degree. She completed her Radiology Residency in 1980 and was Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology in 1981. She was the Director of Imaging for The Mercy Breast Center from 2003 - 2019.
