Aurora Imaging Technology To Host Free Breast MRI Reimbursement Webinar

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. (October 30, 2007) – Aurora Imaging Technology, Inc., will be conducting a complimentary live reimbursement webinar to further support breast imaging facilities, through the delivery of expert reimbursement support.  This live webinar will take place at 12:00pm EST on Tuesday, November 13, 2007.  The webinar, entitled “Breast MRI:  2008 Coding Changes & Challenges”, will focus on 2008 CPT coding changes, the 2008 final rule for Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System (HOPPS), the 2008 final rule for Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS), and Breast MRI Accreditation requirements. 
Reimbursement expert, Barbara J. Ossias, will be the speaker for the webinar.  An educator certified by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists and the Society of Nuclear Medicine, Barbara serves as Aurora’s Breast MRI Reimbursement Specialist managing the Aurora Breast MRI Reimbursement Hotline Support Center.  Ms. Ossias brings more than 20 years of experience in medical imaging and nuclear medicine reimbursement and has developed and managed the Hotline for over a year.
