Siting Requirements

The Aurora® 1.5T Dedicated Breast MRI System can be installed in most medical office environments that meet standard MR siting criteria regarding proximity to moving metal, electromagnetic interference and vibration.

General Requirements:

  • Floor Space: 500 SF, minimum
  • Clear Ceiling Height inside RF Enclosure: 9’-6”, minimum
  • RF Shielding: > 100 db attenuation
  • Electrical Service: 208V, 3 phase, 45 KVA
  • Air Conditioning: 9,200 BTU/hr, minimum
  • Chilled Water Cooling Capacity: 24,400 BTU/hr
