Infiltrating Ductal Carcinoma (IDC)
Description: Patient with positive family history of breast cancer and ovarian cancer. September 2003 mammogram reported benign micro calcifications. August 2007 patient presented with palpable mass in lateral aspect of left breast.

August 2007 left breast mammogram showed large area of abnormality lateral aspect of breast.

August 2007 left breast ultrasound showed mass at 1:00-3:00 position and prominent rounded nodes in left axilla.

Breast MRI showed extensive abnormal enhancement in left breast with skin thickening and asymmetric enlarged lymph nodes within left axilla.

Left breast biopsy confirmed infiltrating ductal carcinoma with rare foci of ductal carcinoma in-situ. Left axillary node biopsy confirmed metastatic ductal carcinoma.
